Artist and lyricist Nanci Griffith has passed on at 68 


Society and nation vocalist and lyricist Nanci Griffith, whose collection "Different Voices, Different Rooms" won the 1994 Grammy Grant for Best Contemporary People Collection, kicked the bucket on Friday. She was 68. 


Griffith died in Nashville, Tennessee, as indicated by her administration organization. A delegate for Gold Mountain Media didn't give a reason for her demise. 


"It was Nanci's desire that no further proper assertion or official statement occur for seven days following her passing," the delegate said 


Griffith was a Texas-conceived artist whose famous accounts incorporate "Love at the Discount store," "Once in a Really Blue Moon" and "Outbound Plane." 


She endure thyroid and bosom malignancy, which she was determined to have in the last part of the 1990s.
